Info Post
Being a hair stylist, I want to incorporate more hair posts into the blog and I thought doing a biweekly feature on fabulous hair styles that can be done in 10 minutes or less, would be a really fun feature for The Love Hanger.

So for my very first Fab Hair Friday post, I'm going to show you all how to do a bouffant ponytail that you saw in this post from Tuesday.

Bouffant Ponytail: Estimated Time: 5 minutes

Tools:
Teasing comb (found at drugstores or retail stores for about $3)
Bobby pins
Hair grip
Hair spray
Decorative clip (optional)

    Preparation:
Starting in the back of the crown, lift sections of hair to tease.  The more teasing, the bigger the bouffant.  To tease, make quick C-shaped motions moving the comb down the backside of the hair.

Keep teasing until you get to the front hairline.

    Don't you look pretty? :D

Now, smooth the top layer very gently with a fine toothed comb.

Once it's smoothed to your liking, get your hair grip ready and gather your hair into a mid to low ponytail.  As you place the ponytail, try not to pull down on the hair or your bouffant will flatten.

Take your comb and gently lift any pieces of the bouffant that look a little flat.

Use a mirror to check the back and if there are any pieces sticking up, use a bobby pin to anchor it down.

Hair spray the top only and add a decorative clip if you desire.

Hope you enjoyed!  Tweet me pictures of your hair if you tried this! @TheLoveHanger

Have a great weekend friends! <3
